Cox Farms 2011

On Sunday, we went to Cox Farms.  It seems this place started out as just a pumpkin patch but has evolved into a little wonderland for kids.  It was amazing!  They had hayrides, giant slides, rope swings, cider, pumpkin pie and lots more!

The pumpkins! Everyone got a pumpkin on the way out..included in the admission fee!

Visit with Rachel

Rachel came up for a visit from Virginia Beach this weekend.  We met her at Union Station on Saturday and then walked all the way down the National Mall and over to the new Martin Luther King Memorial.  We finally had a gorgeous day here in DC!  It's crazy coming from Dallas heat and drought to DC temps and rain.  But the sun was shining on Saturday and we had a great day!

On our way to meet Rachel.  We got off the metro at Smithsonian and decided to walk to Union station.  Here is the Capitol.
