DC weekend-Saturday

We have had such a good weekend! This was our first weekend just the three of us and we packed it full. We started Saturday morning off a little slowly, but finally made it to the metro by about 10. We got out at the National Mall so Samuel could just run! He LOVED it! It was crisp and cool and we were all so happy!

There is a carousel right by the Air and Space museum...so of course we all three had to ride!

More vacation pictures

We began our vacation at the Naval Museum in Pensacola. It was incredible and the kids really loved it!

Once we arrived into Destin, we checked out our house and let the kids swim. We then decided to walk down to the beach. This was Samuel's first time on the sand. It was precious!

The next day we went to the beach around 9 and decided to bury Thad. He was such a good sport!

I actually made him a woman:)

This picture holds some unpleasant thought for all of us. We were waiting on a table at Crab Trap. You can't really tell from the picture, but this bench is up pretty high off of the ground. We turned our heads for a split second and Amelia fell off. Unfortunately, an ER trip and 6 stitches followed.

While Jason and Meredith took her to the ER, we took the girls to Hard Rock Cafe! They loved it!

Day 2 beach

This was our second attempt at Crab Trap and everyone was healthy and had a great time!

Taking pictures next to the sandcastle....that we did not build.

Train ride at Destin Commons. Once again, Thad was a good sport!

Our last night was dinner at The Back Porch. We were doing beach pictures after dinner so we were all getting cleaned up. I tried to have a photo session with two-two year olds!

We had a wonderful vacation and can't wait to do it again with the family!
